COMMUNITY: Living His Communion Together

Let us offer you His welcome!

“If up until now you have kept Him at a distance, step forward. He will receive you with open arms." --Pope Francis

With Pope Francis, Cardinal Donald W. Wuerl and the whole Church of Washington, the community of St. John the Evangelist parish welcomes you to come and share our life with Christ!

Have you been away from the Church? New to the area? Think you’ve received some of the sacraments as a child, but not even sure? Spiritual, but now interested in exploring an experience that’s more concrete?

Come and let us share your life and introduce you to the One who sustains our happiness, joy and communion.

Welcome, and please do come and see!

Rev. Joseph Calis, Pastor

His Invitation...

“Jesus said to them, ‘Come and have breakfast’.” (Jn 21:12)

Not ready to come to Mass, but would like to meet a few members of the parish community? Join our parish family on the third Sunday of every month for breakfast after the 8AM and 10:15AM Masses or a multi-cultural brunch after the 12PM Mass. Parishioners gather in the Kennedy Room on the lower level of the Main Church about an hour after each Mass for refreshment and conversation. Please introduce yourself to one of the members of our Welcome Committee who will be there to greet you. You are also invited to attend any of our other community activities, or to pray in Our Lady's Chapel in the lower Main Church. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Ready to join us?

Kindly fill out this parish registration form.

-St. Gregorio Naciancino (330-390)
